26 May 2021 – Midweek Prayer Meeting Guide

I will go in the strength of the Lord; I will proclaim Your goodness, Yours alone, You have taught me ever since I was young And I still tell of Your wonderful acts Now that I am old and my hair is gray, do not abandon me, O God! Be with me while I proclaim Your power and might to all generations to come.

Psalm 71:16-18

Jesus went around visiting all the towns and villages. He taught in the synagogues, preached the Good News about the Kingdom, and healed people with every kind of disease and sickness. As he saw the crowds, his heart was filled with pity for them, because they were worried and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. So he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is large, but there are few workers to gather it in’. Pray to the owner of the harvest that He will send out workers to gather in His harvest.

Matthew 9:35-38

So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people.
