Youth Choir
7:00AM English Service, Main Sanctuary

Conductor: Atty. Delilah Grace Magtolis ; Pianist: Mr. Joshua Agarrado

The Youth Choir sings bright and early in the 7:00 A.M. English
worship service. Composed of young people aged 13 and up, the Youth Choir has staged several worship cantatas in praise to the One who has given them the gift of music. Among these productions are: Children of Light (1974), Celebrate Life (1976), The LOVE Concert (1978), Get Ready! (1983), How Great Thou Art (1989), Ang Pinakadakilang Handog (1995), Evidence of Grace (2004), Experiencing God (2005), Everlasting Light (1987 & 2006) and Make His Praise Glorious (2012).

The choir was also responsible for organizing the “Halakhakan” concert in 1991 featuring the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, which was a major fundraiser for the construction of Ellinwood’s Youth Center, now the site of the Ellinwood Christian School.

The Youth Choir was blessed to have been under the guidance of the following conductors, namely: Rachel Dadap, Lois Malaki-Espinosa, Rev. Don Espina, Joval Labata, Aileen Espinosa-Cura, Israel Bombasi, Vera Pepito-Acosta and Boots Posadas-Botter. The choir is currently under the baton of Atty. Delilah Grace Magtolis, accompanied by Mr. Joshua Agarrado.

Through the years, the Youth Choir has helped foster friendships and enhanced talents among its members. More importantly, it has served as an important component of the church’s ministry to the young people who treat the Youth Choir as one of their primary outlet of service to God. Indeed, the Youth Choir members best exemplify the chorus of “Give of Your Best to the Master”, as they strive to continue giving to God the strength of their youth.
