31 December 2020 – New Year’s Eve Worship Guide

Ecclesiastes 3:1-13, Matthew 25: 31-46

Year 2020 taught us to be careful this coming year. Be careful in living. Be careful in the way you live. Be careful. Be wise. Be careful with your time, which is God’s time.Don’t contribute to evil. Be wise. Seek the Lord’s will in all things. Every day and in every way.

According to the recent survey on accidents, the four major factor is : panic, worry, multitasking equals stress. Stress is such a huge factor when it comes to accidents. Mental health experts says when a person in under stress, his ability to decide, to control himself and to act is decreased by 18 per cent of one’s total capacity.

Brothers and sisters, we’re all vulnerable when it comes to accidents, but obviously, some are more prone than others simply because they either panic, worry, do two or three tasks at the same time which lead stress and stress leads to accidents.

The same is true in the spiritual realm. If we are not properly focused in life, we will suffer for it. And most of the time, we are far too stuck in the affairs of this world and get materially focused than we are spiritually focused. LET’S BE HONEST ABOUT THIS. The year 2020 is a good lesson for all of us. Let year 2021 be a year for careful living – Let us use more of our time for the Lord. Let us seek the Lord more in life. And let us serve the Lord no matter else we do.
